Web Promotion Strategy in 2010

As we enter 2010, E-Marketing is not as it used to be 3-4 years back. I remember those days when we could do the viral link building and website appears on top of the results. Maybe you can still find some techniques Black and White Hat SEO excellent to put the site on the top ranking in Google. But this is not enough in the coming years, as you may lose some concentration of potential customers in any other place like Craigslist, product search engines, social sites and more.
So what should be our Web Promotion Strategy for 2010?
Modern Era E-Marketing is not a solicitation but it is consolidating. Instead of 1000S return link, it is good to know the target audience and serve. In doing so, you may lose 20% of potential customers from different area accessories. But you serve 80% in May area targeted selectively, it would be like 80-20 strategy that 20% of the marketing effort generates 80% of your business and 80% of your marketing efforts (SEO, link building, etc.) generates only 20% conversion.
Now the question arises how to find market conditions and operating these audiences. For this you have to do extensive research, plus trial and error situation to find out which hub could give you maximum conversion

Yahoo / MSN 15% Search Engine Other
Yahoo / MSN Ads CPC 5% Other
Up to 10% of social marketing
Craigslist 10% Locations Auction
Remains another source 20% from other sources such as review sites, blogs and news.

The above results is an average traffic, the percentage varies in May instead of Facebook as a seller would B2C traffic generated to their Yahoo Answers or some other social sites, but it is recommended that this KPI as minimizing the risk of depending entirely on Google for the conversion.
The next generation boom flush out all paid advertising and various models such as affiliate program, CPA and others would be identified, this shows that companies with more more comfortable to pay high percentage of sales during the conversion course.
Finally, retaining the customer is also important, you may retain customers in the newsletter, RSS, Seasonal Greetings and more than the cost so high to make a new customer, why leave the customer to them further species.
Using Google Analytics on a daily basis and mining in addition to the information reflecting the biography of users and conversion models is another important task to undertake. This helps you keep track of visitors entering the site through different keywords and demographics.
Following conventional marketing channel, it is also important to try new marketing channels as podcasting, survey and site investigation and cheap it gives you an advantage over other vendors to reach the next generation hybrid customers.
